Ore; New Timetable Benefits Leaflet

The new Southern Rail timetable commencing 20th May transforms services and brings major improvements to passengers at ORE.
There are more frequent trains along the coast with three trains each hour from 06.30 until 22.30 on weekdays; one to Eastbourne (with connection to Brighton), one to Gatwick and London Victoria, and one limited stop to Brighton (Eastbourne in 30 minutes and Brighton in 75 minutes), with an additional later journey on Saturdays at 23.26
Arrivals from the coast are similarly three trains each hour from 07.00 until 22.30, with an additional later arrival on Saturdays at 23.15
The increased frequency also provides connections at Hastings to and from both of the South Eastern services via Tunbridge Wells (Services at 06.16 to Charing Cross and 06.40 to Cannon Street still run from Ore as well as the 18.26 from Cannon Street to Ore)
After a gap of many years EVERY Marshlink train to and from Rye and Ashford International will call at Ore on weekdays and Sundays. This will be of considerable benefit to students and long distance passengers since there will no longer be the need to travel via Hastings. Improvements to connections into HS1 services at Ashford International mean that the journey time to London St. Pancras is reduced to 84 minutes, and Stratford International (for Docklands) in 77 minutes. (Limited Advance single fares are available to St Pancras of £14.30 less any railcard discount). A later train in each direction allows a late departure from St. Pancras at 22.37 connecting at Ashford into a train arriving at Ore just after midnight.
Sunday services along the coast are increased to two trains each hour from 08.15 until 22.35, with return arrivals between 08.00 and 22.20.
Monthly season tickets represent great value with daily return cost based on a 5 day week of £2.50 to Bexhill, £4.25 to Rye, and £4.75 to Eastbourne
